VISION:

To Serve as National Library for the disabled having technological/digital facilities as well as disability centers in respect of four disabilities.

 

To serve as a Resources Centre at the National Level for dissemination of literature on Disabilities. To become a "Database Centre" in respect of four disabilities at the National Level.

  The Library, as the primary information provider to the Special as well general community,will provide leadership in information policy development, information technology application and information research.

  The Library will maintain an excellent collection that is notable for the depth and breadth of its holdings.

  The Library will enhance access to knowledge, promote scholarly communication and provide information to the academic community in support of research and instructional programs.

  Library users will benefit from inclusive and outstanding instruction, outreach, and public services including access to user-friendly information systems.

  The Library's collaborations with the partner institutions will increase intellectual access, complement instructional activities, and promote resource sharing.

  Resource centre will locate job opportunity and give accessibility in their financial integration.

  Provision of text reading accessibility to Low visionary and partially sighted.

Mission Statement To become a think tank in the public Sector for the Education, Training and Rehabilitation of the Disabled.
